We offer three simple but very full-featured plans for Web hosting: Basic, Standard, and Advanced. And new as of May 10, 2004, we also offer a very inexpensive Economy Plan for someone with very minimal needs -- scroll to the bottom of the page for details.

ALSO NEW as of May 10, 2004:

  • MORE SPACE -- up to 10 times as much server disk space as was included in our plans previously! The new limits apply to both current and new clients.
  • NEW FEATURES are available in most plans -- see below for more information.
  • REDUCED PRICES for space overages (50% reduction), and no set up fees for MySQL databases (had been $40/database) in plans that include them!
  • NO SET UP CHARGE for your site (had been $50) with payment of first three months or more of hosting. So it's easier than ever to move your site to Bergey.net!
  • Hosting is automatically billed monthly to your credit card or may be paid annually by check or via PayPal.

Annual domain name registration through Bergey.net is just $50 for the first two years, and $25 per year thereafter, or you can do it yourself through one of many less expensive registrars online (such as 000domains.com); we'll provide you with the DNS addresses to use if you wish to do it yourself.

Basic Plan

$19 per month

The Basic Plan includes everything most smaller businesses need for their Web site hosting and e-mail needs. Here's a summary of what's included:

  • Up to 100 MB disk space (more than adequate for all but the largest sites; overage charges of $1/MB/month)
  • Up to 1 GB monthly data transfer (handles a very busy site; overage charges 16¢/MB/month)
  • Unlimited email accounts (POP3)*
  • Unlimited email forwarders*
  • Control Panel -- easy setup of site options, email accounts, and monitoring of site via your Web browser
  • Microsoft Front Page 2000 Extensions if needed
  • UNIX based
  • Private CGI directory
  • 24 Hour automated monitoring and tape backup
  • Raw log data -- extensive data to monitor your site

*Unlimited except by the disk space limit.

Standard Plan

$29 per month

The Standard Plan includes everything in the Basic Plan above, PLUS:

  • Up to 250 MB disk space (overage charges of $1/MB/month)
  • Up to 2 GB monthly data transfer (overage charges 16¢/MB/month)
  • Up to 10 subdomains (subdomain.yourdomain.com)
  • Up to 5 mailing lists (limited to 500 outbound emails/hour)
  • Up to 5 MySQL databases
  • FTP Access (including anonymous FTP) for your clients
  • SSL (Secure Socket Layer) for secure transactions
  • Selection of CGI scripts ready to install with one click

Advanced Plan

$39 per month

The Advanced Plan is ideal for an e-commerce site, and includes everything in the Basic and Standard plans above, PLUS:

  • Up to 500 MB disk space (overage charges of $1/MB/month)
  • Up to 4 GB monthly data transfer (overage charges 16¢/MB/month)
  • Up to 20 subdomains (subdomain.yourdomain.com)
  • Up to 10 mailing lists (limited to 500 emails/hour)
  • Up to 10 MySQL databases

Need a really simple site with just a couple of pages? We also offer an Economy Plan for just $59/year! It includes just 5 MB of disk space, 2 email accounts or forwarders, and has no CGI capability (no forms or scripts). It also has an upgrade path -- if you exceed the space limitations for three months, you'll automatically be upgraded to the Basic Plan and billed monthly thereafter at $19/month.
