Lives or livelihoods … that’s the choice many of us are being forced to make. I find it distressing that so many are protesting for their “right” to return to life as we knew it a few months ago at the expense of lives around them. Even worse, many of them claim to be pro-life, but, as it turns out, that apparently only applies to those who are pregnant.
Your “right” to freedom does not trump (no pun intended) my right to protect myself and my family. Stay at home. And when you must go out, show your respect for others by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing.
Believe me, I want to get back to work ASAP, too. But not at the expense of harming myself, my family, or you.
