Robo calls are back.
I’ve had three so far today; the first two were the usual, 0% interest on my credit cards, then “Your car warranty may have just expired.” But the third one I got just now takes the cake, inspired by COVID-19, I’m sure.
The caller was live, not a recording, and wanted to sell me a ”final services” package. I had to ask him to repeat it twice before I understood what he was selling. For $20,000 I could buy a package that would cover all my “final needs” — funeral services, casket, burial, etc. So of course I bought it. Darn, I forgot to get his name so I can’t even refer you.
