“My RØDE Cast” Podcast Competition — An Update
On June 18th, I told you about the “My RØDE Cast” podcast competition and invited you to listen and vote for my entry. Winners were announced today, and, alas, I wasn’t one of them. But I’m glad I participated. Maybe next year! If you’d like to listen to the winning podcasts, visit this page. Thanks again to everyone who voted for my podcast!
Work Update
We had a couple of motorcoaches rolling this past weekend at Hagey Coach, Inc. — the first time in three months other than for the massive bus rally in Washington, DC, in May. It was a military move for the National Guard, carrying troops from Baltimore to Willow Grove. Not much, but it’s a start! I didn’t get to drive them, but my day will come soon, I hope. We tentatively have a few private charters booked for later in July, and I hope things will continue to pick up from there. But with COVID-19 spikes all over the country and death counts starting to rise again, I fear everything may shut down again. Please wear your mask and exercise social distancing when you go out!
Lume Cube Panel GO
I’ll be writing more about this later, but this is my latest tech gear acquisition — a small LED panel light for photography and video from Lume Cube called the Panel GO. I bought it to improve lighting in the corner of my office when I’m on a Zoom call, but I’m also finding other cool uses for it. Story in progress — stay tuned!
